My advice is to go no where near this company all you get are problems if needing support of any kind, many years of loyal custom and I get treated like this. Nothing surprises me about this company, cancelled my support ticket when saying my problem hasn't even in the slightest been sorted out. They are both dishonest companies who do not care about their consumers. We won't every buy anything from them again. Don't touch Currys or Microsoft with a bargepole. How can this be fair? We are in the process of taking Currys and Microsoft to the small claims court and we are complaining to Which. Microsoft have offered to repair or sort it out but.my daughter has ended up paying an excessive amount of money for a malfunctioning laptop and has ended up with a refurbished one which is still faulty. Back to Currys who again refused to do anything. This refurbished laptop has an intermittent fault. Unbeknownst to her this was a refurbished laptop!!! In my opinion this is a shocking deception by a major company. Long story short, eventually Microsoft sent a replacement laptop. Strange arrangement but it enables them both to avoid their consumer responsibilities. This, in spite of her consumer contract being with Currys. They said Microsoft won't deal with them, they have to deal with the customer direct. She went back to Currys who said they couldn't do anything and she would have to deal directly with Microsoft.

When she started to use it, she received an electric shock every time she touched it. Enfield branch - my daughter saved hard to buy the expensive Microsoft laptop she had researched and which she thought would meet her needs. Microsoft and Currys are partners in crime.
